OK, OK, let's give Ex-W a chance here. I understand folks wanting to vent a little, but he did keep his response civil. If he's willing to abide by the rules, I think we should be mature enough to give him a fighting chance. Let's not bait him into personal attacks.

Ex-W, I hope you realize that Clarity was putting a funny face on the discord over the past few days. He didn't see where you were wronged by the "group mind" of the administrators and moderators. He was giving you a reason to be upset ... only in jest. If you would like to continue on as a member here, I think, as a group, we owe you the chance. Heck, we gave Louis much more rope to hang himself.

Things have calmed down somewhat on the forums ... I hope we can keep it that way.

I think there should be two unbreakable rules on BP:

1. Please refrain from posting the stupid, reocurring, "Goodbye Forever, I'm Offended by Tibor" threads. If you don't like Poster A and don't wanna post here anymore, then don't. There's no need for explanation: Tibor or Poster A aren't getting banned because they pissed you off.

I've seen 100 of those threads over the years, and they go like this: Offended Poster says Goobye, then 20 posts follow with, "No, don't go! I like to read your posts too much!" Then the last post is Offended Poster (back again) to say, "I'm flattered by this show of emotion for me, I will continue to post on BP, but I will never talk to that a-hole Tibor again."

Rule # 2: If you do feel compelled to write the "Goodbye Forever, I'm Offended by Tibor" thread, then be true to your word & STAY AWAY FOREVER!! Anyone who starts that thread is back within less than 24 hours, typically.

Have some thick skin, people. I can count a hundred people on these boards that piss me off and who I've pissed off, but none of us ever left or wrote a thread about it. Heck, in my mind's eye I see 'NOTREDAMECHIEF' as 'NUMBDERDUMBCHUMP' from Mili calling him it so much, but he's still here. And NDC never wrote a "Goodbye all, I'm not NUMDERDUMBCHUMP" thread.

Yeah dude, I hear ya. But I will say this for USC: at least he seems to be following Rule # 2. Which is a lot more than I can say for most.

My main problem is with people popping back in the next day after the tear-jerker thread.

He did respond later on.....Said "thanks" to everyone that PM'd with the kind words.
He later deleted this post as well. I thought he was going to be posting again.
This is the first tiem I've been on line in a couple of days. I take it he still hasn't come back.

Hey Sloop

The post from USC that I mentioned was deleted, was actually moved to Forum Politics and became it's own thread.
He not only came back to say he was still leaving, but then he came back to say he was staying after all.
He hasn't posted since.

Is he coming or going? I'm not sure.

Really? I had no idea. I do remember Di's farewell post on BN entitled, "I Bid Thee Farewell, Bucknuts" over that brew-ha-ha with that Arizona guy. I forget his name, but he had a couple of aliases too: realtor707 (or something), Jerry Caldwell (or something), and a couple more.

Does anyone remember who he was? He was the psycho who'd invite people to be their tour guide in Tempe for the Fiesta Bowl.

Speaking of infamous troll posters, we gotta find a way to get TomInDayton over to BP.

i remember that guy...axelaz....remember it like yesterday...

how cool is it to now have a site that ACTUALLY backs you up when some dumbshit from nowhere comes along....

that is why this place is so cool......

its also cool that on this site you can be blatanly wrong on facts and posters simply correct you and go on.......so much different than bucknutts....

i couldnt be further from axel if it were even imaginable....

that fucker came on the bnuts board about an hour before the fiesta bowl and began to spew ridiculous shit.....he didnt stop spewing the filth for a week...

the bnuts admins did nothing...and i was pissed....

That's not how I remember the ending to the AxelAz era but oh well.

I recall a regular coming forward and admitting to be AxelAz. I could be mistaken but I don't think I am. No one remembers that?
