All of you deer hunters out there

playoff beard>any other beard

Playoff beards are pretty bad ass...but they are no match for the beard of Beanie.

I got asked by a Rooster's girl if I was a deer hunter. I was laughing, like "uh..no". She said that alot of hunters grow their beards out. Makes sense. Hunting and beards are both primal.

I've never been hunting. I'd like to, but hunting seems expensive...unless I just use my pocket knife...hmm...

Is "Canadian" still a code word for black people?

This kind of stuff is why I'm fearful and mistrustful of White people

I thought it was because people give us free stuff when no one is looking.

Attacks like the one described are not uncommon, especially with mountain lions involved. If I was going for a hike where large predators were known to exist I would carry a large bore hand gun. Have to blame the young man here, not the wolves.

I don't think anyone blames the wolves...at least not anyone with any sense.

There's a real disconnect between what a lot of people believe about wild animals and how wild animals really behave.

Wolf Attack - HuntingBC.ca

On the subject of wolves, this guy and his family were attacked (wolves went after kiddies pulled on a toboggan), but their family dog did the Lassie thing and helped saved them.

Good Dog!!!

Lucky Dog!!!

Wolves see domestic dogs as prey. I have a friend in AK who lost two large Malamutes to a pack. The dogs were killed & eaten without him hearing a thing while he was eating dinner. He found his third dog (an indoor breed) cowering under the bed and it wouldn't come out for a couple of days.

if beanie had a playoff beard he wouldnt leave a game hurt. more than one player played last year in lord stanleys playoff with a broken leg, a jammed thumb or hamstring keeps him out... im just saying. turco put off heart surgery that doctors said he could die if he didnt have it to finish up the last few months of reg season, then played in the playoffs...

find a friend who hunts, better yet find a friend who is similar size. you can borrow his "old" stuff maybe and try it out. you might like it, you might not. that way you don't have to drop much cash, only a license and maybe a bribe gift or something...

I don't give a fuck what some figure skaters do. Scratch that, figure skaters don't wear pads.

You really shouldn't talk that way about Beanie.

Black people don't play ice hockey so don't mock me. What's the best of the minor "leagues"?

:shake: Grant Fuhr? Five time Stanley Cup winning goaltender with the Oilers? Others, off the top of my head: Mike Greer, Anson Carter, Fred Brathwaite, Donald Brashear, Georges LaRoque, Peter Worrell, Kevin Weekes, and the first black NHL player Willie O'Ree.

And how can you forget Jason Downey from the Dayton bombers? Most popular Bomber of the mid '90s.

That was just off the top of my head. I haven't had cable or sat for a few years now, so I'm not up on a lot of the current players.

EDIT: Iginla is definitely a badass. He really carries his team.

lots of games can be seen on the internet, games will be played on nbc.

no excuses for not following hockey, none

Yeah, the NHL does a good job of getting the highlight reels out there. Are there any websites that stream live games? I do watch the NBC games, and as much of the playoffs as I can. It's just not the same when you have to refer to players by number, because you have no idea who the fuck they are. Oh, to see Dougie Gilmour light up a defenseman twice his size again. (wipes tear from eye)

Yeah, but here you have two starving wolves weighing in at 50-60 lbs, and this healthy 120 lb rot-shepherd cross. In the one-on-one fight he should do OK. In fact, the photos of the dead wolf showed he was doing fine. But a pack would have him down and eaten in ten minutes, and in a two on one fight, one of them would grab a hind leg while the other lunged at him from the other side, and once he was crippled he would have gone down.

When I lived in Washington state I moved into a new suburb in the desert part of south central Washington. I would hear the Coyotes at night. Not a cat or dog in the whole damn neighborhood because of predation, and the only ones alive were kept indoors.
