Alabama 41, scum 14 (final)

Once in a bl** moon

I know it's the Friday before but...
August 2012 - is one of these unique months, which will have two full moons. There will be a full moon on August 2nd, and then another full moon on August 31st.

So those of us whom are superstitious in regards to full moons will have two special days in August of 2012.

The term Blue Moon can refer to the second full moon in a given month. When people say "once in a blue moon" they are speaking to the rarity of the occurrence of a second moon happening in the same given month.

How many times does this get brought up in the broadcast? :shake:

Isn't Bama missing most of their D from last year?
Yes. They're also missing Trent fucking Richardson and their top two returning receivers caught something like 28 total passes last year.

I don't understand this belief that they're running an NFC South team out there but I don't follow camps and such things.

Competence is all that is required to whip Michigan's soft interior linemen, not greatness.

A similar bar is set for defending Denard's passes. The amount of throws he got away with last year was absurd, especially notre dame, who magically remembered how to defend a good passing attack from east Lansing.

Heaving inside DB shoulder jump passes to a 5'5" receiver to win in South bend.

Rolling out, staring down and chucking a prayer into triple hokie coverage, only to watch them collide off each other and luckily seal off any pursuit as the slowest WR in decades raced for six.

Bama may have breakdowns in coverage but they won't Morgan Trent every wounded duck that Denard chucks up there.
JR Hemingway was a beast and saved Denard countless times. Gallon is a well rounded possession WR but he has no size and Gary gray won't be suiting up for the ride.

That's why Devin Gardner has been taking so many reps at WR.

Two midgets in Dileo and
Gallon paired with shaky and thin Roundtree are a poor recipe for beating a massive and physical Bama team, especially when you are already very overmatched upfront in the middle.

Bama lost some defensive startesr but as long as Saban and Kirby are there they will just reload each and every year with 1st round talent, its just the reality now. Saban has created a powerhouse that I hope Urban (I think he will) can copy.

Look out for Bama true freshmen runningback TJ Yeldon. He is incredibly talented and will be in line to be the next Mark Ingram/Trent Richarson for Bama.
