Used to be said that pulling a DT from the South/SEC territory was harder than having a root canal without anesthesia (or somesuch). Yet the Buckeyes have done so each of the last two years. I call it a shift from SEC to B10 supremacy. Keep it up.
I've been saying this since the early 2000s that the SEC gap was in large part not going down south for big athletic DL (or not having success trying). We've changed that in a big way, in large part thanks to LJ Sr. This would be a really big pickup at DT.

I think the shift in top southern HSDL coming north over the last 5yrs coincided with camps traveling more, coaches moving around more which brought targets to new schools, the transfer portal opening eyes to more tangible options, and finally NIL deals being able to match or exceed in the B1G when money is now above board.

If everyone holds, this will be one fine DL class this year. Talent dripping from each and every one. Since was a 'Super Soph' guy growing up, would love to see this work its way back, and if not the whole team, then at least several position groups. And although not as star-studded, see that the OL has got a plethora of people planning to play as well.

This DL class is shaping up to be MONSTER and we needed that more than anything for this class (pretty sure that's how I concluded my BRPT class review for the last cycle). May is the exact DT that we need to be landing to stay up at the top, we've seen the difference guys like KMac can make in the middle and it's absolutely crucial. May is your prototype big, athletic southern DT that will thrive under LJ Sr. Let's close this one out.
