So sorry to hear that, praying your dad gets better soon. And that you get into the Shoe with him again soon. I've been trying to get back the last few years and it's been tough, glad to finally get back to Ohio.

I haven't been in The Shoe since my dad and I sat in the south stands in 95, watching Eddie George and Company play the last home game of the season against IIRC, Illinois. My (then) wife bought the plane tickets and dad bought the game tix for my birthday.

Last game I actually went into was the UC game that Schlegel sidewalk slammed the streaker! I find it more enjoyable tailgating with a 60" tv and mingling. The incline going up to the affordable seats is hell on the legs and ass. LOL.

Still, you always remember the games you go in for and I can only really remember a couple tailgates. Like others have said, enjoy your time and savor the memories!

Just sayin': I do think we are very lucky that this happed before the Akron game as compared to the Penn State, Indiana, or scUM game, etc.

Don't we have at least 3 other QB's? Why even say he'd only play in an emergency capacity? Just say he's out. We could probably beat Crakron with Henderson or one of the WR's at QB.

Hopefully the same challenges that CJ faced last week won't resurface this week. There were at least seven OL penalties that put Stroud in a difficult situation. There were also some dropped passes. So there is blame to go around everywhere.

That being said, glad CJ is resting his shoulder and looking forward to see Miller and/or McCord in action. Thankfully, it looks like this week we can build the passing game off the running game which will make it easier to throw the ball.
