My favorite part of the game is when Urban Meyer complimented Jim Bollman's playcalling. Somewhere, cdiddy divided by zero.

It was kind of funny how Meyer was talking about Miller like he was Tim Tebow resurrected. Might just be me, but if OSU looks for a coach after the season Meyer is going to talk to them. I'm pulling for Fickell to be here for a long time.

It'll be interesting to watch the season unfold. How much of the offense the past 10 years was truly Bollman and how much was JT?

Yesterday has me excited.

If anything, I think it's good that Urban thinks so highly of Braxton. No doubt great things are ahead for that young man. I'm gitty with excitement!

From my perspective, he was consistently speaking well of your coaches and players. His comment about your SEC-like recruiting may be annoying, but the recruiting rankings are what they are. Y'all have been the one B1G program to be consistently rated as high as the UF, Bama & LSUs, etc. over the last decade.* Your program has also dominated the conference in that same time period.

The two facts are not unrelated.

* Michigan has a higher decade ranking, but the last several years have fallen dramatically.

For pure fun, look at the article tracking recruiting and look how the leg humpers have failed so miserably despite the quality of their recruits. :slappy:

He was doing the same with Stoneburner. I remember UF was recruiting Jake very hard. I'm sure he's pissed he missed that one.

I survived the heat. Awesome opener. Lots of empty seats, but it was definitely scorching out there. That catch by Evan Spencer happened right in front of me and it was breathtaking. Just an amazing grab by that kid. TBDBITL had been going at it since before sunrise, so I wasn't surprised to find out about their struggles with the heat. I have so much respect for them and what they do, game in and game out. Hopefully they're all doing well now.

I thought the team played a great game as a unit. A few slips here and there. I'd love to see how it would go with today's weather. There's no way they were going at full speed out there, although I definitely didn't see much to complain about other than the missed field goals. I can say that my legs are still cramping/hurt just from walking all day in the heat on Saturday, so I hope the team is bouncing back and getting ready for Toledo. Had to be rough on them.

All in all, very good game. Excited to see what we can do this year. It's going to be an interesting season. I can't wait.

I checked earlier and it was 59 degrees outside! Welcome to Ohio.
