What did the Akron coach say to Fickell at the end? I couldn't quite make it out but it sounded like he was complaining... maybe about the blitzes when they were down by 42? Yeah, that's tough, but here's $400,000... now get out of here!

Nice win, on a miserably hot day it was great to see we had 65 players able to get some time in (just guessing at the 65...).

Now i can get a pizza and then watch Western Michigan spank the wolverines.

The thing that Akron's dumbass coach failed to realize is that Fickell had a huge audition today. He needed to assure the Buckeye nation that the program is in fine hands. Hell, his debut was above and beyond what I had hoped. I have no problem with a coach letting the boys play. His defensive style is to blitz...... Maybe it'll make Akron think twice before taking on the big boys again.
