Anybody catch what Akron's coach said to Fickell as he was shaking his hand? All I caught was "I don't think that <inaudible> but good luck to you the rest of the year." Then Fickell kind of gave him a funny look as he ran away.

What did the Akron coach say to Fickell at the end? I couldn't quite make it out but it sounded like he was complaining... maybe about the blitzes when they were down by 42? Yeah, that's tough, but here's $400,000... now get out of here!
Nice win, on a miserably hot day it was great to see we had 65 players able to get some time in (just guessing at the 65...).

The thing that Akron's dumbass coach failed to realize is that Fickell had a huge audition today. He needed to assure the Buckeye nation that the program is in fine hands. Hell, his debut was above and beyond what I had hoped. I have no problem with a coach letting the boys play. His defensive style is to blitz...... Maybe it'll make Akron think twice before taking on the big boys again.
