It's awesome. Well it was, haven't been to the Sacramento delta since the early 90's, don't know what kind of condition it's in.

Back in the 70's and 80's before the levied the Colorado river there used to be what we called seepage ponds which were pools of water that had seeped out from the river usually anywhere from 100 to 500 yards inland from the river. these were stocked with bass, blue gill and crappies. Some of the most fun I had as a kid was rigging a pole from a bamboo stick, fishing line a hook and literally yanking these fish from the water. Those were the days. Topock slough was another great fishing spot. Topock was made famous by the movie Easy Rider, you can see them crossing the bridge in the movie
I spent a lot of time in the water below that bridge in the late 70's-early 90's.
