Mustangs and Spitfires are the most beautiful planes ever created in my opinion.

These planes buzz our house/area quite a few times during the summer. It's quite the site to see them zipping around just above the tree line.

We get these guys flying by all the time.
The Lincoln airport/Air National Guard base is in a wide valley, and we live on the hill atop the edge. We have pretty good seats for the airshows. We also get AWACS, the Looking Glass 747s, EC-135s and various other large-body aircraft out of Offutt making the hop over to our airbase to do touch-and-goes. We have a huge runway dating back to our airbase's inception as a WWII bomber training school, and since there isn't much traffic they send the Offutt planes over here.
Speaking of airshows, this is how close the Blue Angels were to the house last September. Rattled things up quite a bit, but it's a hell of a lot of fun being that close to a formation of F-18s.
