I loved version 1 and 2. I can't wait for 3 to come out. There have been some weak filler games since AOE2 came out, like Age of Mythology, and Empire Earth. Both were terrible, and the Star Wars Battlegrounds games weren't nearly as fun, since damn near every unit had ranged weapons. Hopefully they fixed some of the annoyances that happened on AOE2, like the game itself not being able to handle 8 civilizations, with max population limit.:tic: Damn. I don't usually get this fired up for a video game, unless it's NCAA football.

Yeah lookin forward to this one. I loved the first 2. However I just picked up Stronghold 2 last week, and it's horrible. Shame too, cause I loved the first one.

yeah stronghold 2 has alright graphics, but the gameplay isn't very good.

AOE3 should be good, as long as they improve the game.

Empire Earth was alright, kinda getting into Empire Earth II now.

its not real time, but if you like this sort of game i highly recomend the total war series. there is something disturbingly enjoyable about watching the carnage that follows armored elephants running through a group of light infantry. or perhaps firing pots of boiling oil on wardogs.
