Advice for wearing a leg cast?

Going to have revision surgery on my 5th metatarsal and going to be in a hard cast for 8 weeks.

Any suggestions/advice?

Yes.. you only have ONE chance to let it heal perfectly.. you have lots of chances to let it heal wrong
I have heard numerous times... metatarsals (like shoulders) have a memory..don't take chances.. play it very safe

Don't shove anything down in it that could get stuck, bad bad bad stuff. My mom user to work at an Orthopedic place that did casts/cast removal, and she told me some nasty stories.

Use the time to rest, and heal correctly like NJ said
