Goodell bars Pacman from Titans camp
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was denied a request Thursday by the NFL to join the Tennessee Titans in training camp. Titans coach Jeff Fisher said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell informed the team of the league's position. The coach said he learned of the league's decision shortly before a news conference.
"It's what we have expected throughout the offseason -- that he will not be permitted to participate in training camp, and he will only be permitted to use the facility one day a week for treatment and counseling," Fisher said.

NASHVILLE, Tenn -- Adam "Pacman" Jones is stepping into the ring and giving pro wrestling a whirl.
His latest career move was announced yesterday at a news conference. The suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback, who has rarely talked to the media recently, didn't attend but released a statement.
"I am a big fan of wrestling, so I wanted to give it a try," Jones said. "I respect wrestling and I'm not coming in like it's just a show. I want to prove that I am the greatest team-sport athlete."

Well, two arrests sounds soooo much better than six now doesn't it? Just keep saying that to yourself Jones, at least you can believe that falsehood.NASHVILLE (AP) — Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones appeared on television Thursday to promote his foray into wrestling and tried to untangle his legal record. Maybe he should have brought a lawyer with him.
Jones appeared on ESPN2's First Take and immediately disputed how many times he's been arrested.
"Everybody keeps saying I've been arrested six times," Jones said.
"I haven't been arrested six times. I've only been arrested twice. I've been accused and people have put warrants out on me numerous other times, but as of today I'm on no probation, I haven't been charged with anything, so I'm just keeping my head up and make sure I'm doing everything to make sure I'm all right with myself."
The NFL has suspended Jones for the season, with a review set for November, because it ruled he violated the league's personal conduct policy. A string of five arrests, documented by police records, since he was drafted in April 2005 was a factor in the suspension.
Jones' sixth arrest came in June when he was booked by Las Vegas police in the most serious case. Jones is under indictment there on two felony counts of coercion stemming from a February fight at a strip club that left a bouncer paralyzed.
Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones used words like misunderstood, gamebreaker, risk taker and redemption Thursday night in his first appearance under his new wrestling contract.
He didn't mention suspension.
....
"You don't know me ... Nobody knows me ... misunderstood. Nobody knows who I am. A player, a gamebreaker, a risk taker, a man," Jones said in the background while he was shown posing and shadow-boxing in a darkened wrestling ring.
Pacman Jones now a singer

Suspended Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones is not expected to play in the NFL this season, so he keeps looking for new ways to stay busy.
First there was wrestling, now it's hip-hop.
His National Street League Records, based in Atlanta, announced Wednesday that Jones will team with producer Spoaty in a duo called Posterboyz with their first single "Let it Shine" being released Aug. 27. The song talks about big money, cars and jewelry.
This latest venture might cause more problems for Jones with the National Football League. Officials are looking into whether or not the record label's name, National Street League Records, infringes on the league's trademark, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A strip club manager paralyzed in a triple shooting is suing the NFL, the Tennessee Titans and suspended football player Adam "Pacman" Jones, claiming they're responsible for his injuries.
Tommy Urbanski seeks unspecified damages in the lawsuit, which his lawyer, Matthew Dushoff, said would be filed Friday in Clark County District Court. It also names the owners of Harlem Knights, a Houston strip club that rented the Minxx Gentleman's Club in Las Vegas in February for a party the weekend of the NBA All-Star game.

Jeff Fisher Looking Into Pacman Incident
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher said Tuesday he's gathering facts about a weekend incident between suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones and defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth.
"It doesn't appear to me to be anything of substance," Fisher said. "I'm not going to dwell on it. If I get more information, I'll deal with it in-house."
Metro Nashville Police Department public relations assistant Amy Raines said officers were not involved in investigating any incident between Jones and Haynesworth over the weekend.
