Activate the Bat Signal - hatehineygate asks a simple question

So asking a simple question here is out of line.

Got it.
Oh good, the victim routine, we needed more of that.

There's nothing wrong with asking a question, but that's not what you did.

You followed up a question with:

- a recollection that he did nothing against the pass

- trying to claim you didn't say things when your arguments didn't hold water, even though the words are right there for everyone to read.

- trying to claim people are out to get you when your arguments didn't hold water

False.

You quoted his post, which counts as a response. Then you went on to remove any doubt about whether you were responding to that by saying this:

"You were putting things out there I never said at all-like the things above."

We were clearly talking about Rogers at that point.

Making it crystal clear that you were responding to that, claiming you never said those things quoted above your post.
Again, you keep trying to make claims that are impossible given the words you have typed.

You made your stance crystal clear:

"I cant remember him doing anything against the passing game"

When in reality he did quite a bit against the pass. You claimed he never did it according to your memory, which was false.

.............and you already said you took it as a question when you said it was a stupid question to ask.

Asking a question only reinforces your lack of knowledge on the subject, particularly when you resort to absurd and embarrassing exaggeration like

"I cant remember him doing anything against the passing game"

Which may not be an exaggeration, but merely a revealing moment of your knowledge on the team.

Either people are out to just start crap or they are f'n brain dead around here. Doesnt surprise me when the leadership cant even sober up enough to keep his own statements in line.

A question is ended with a question mark, I clearly asked a question.

and to think half of you tards think youre so smart, go back in this thread and look at some of your draft predictions, LOL.

No wonder everyone hates our fan base, f'n illeterate dipshits that cant even read a g d post correctly.

So if I said "Can Bernard Scott catch the ball? I cant remember seeing him catch."

Or if I said "Can Brady Quinn throw 6 INTS in a game? I cant remember seeing him do it."

That automatically means I think Scott cant catch or Quinn cant throw INTS?
Are you kidding me?

When you say you can't remember Shaun doing something, that's what you meant to say.

It's not our fault your memory or breakdowns are faulty, that is on you for making a poor observation about his style as a player.

Ignorance to a subject matter doesn't excuse a foolish statement. If I watched Seattle's long snapper in preseason, and he muffed two snaps, I might start wondering if he'll still have the job in september.

I could make a foolish assumption and say:

"Does this long snapper ever snap it properly? I can't seem to recall him ever getting the snap to the punter."

If the reality was that the snapper was a great player, my ignorance isn't an excuse.

I jumped to a conclusion and stuck my foot in my mouth, and now look stupid, and it isn't the fault of anyone mocking my foolish statement.

Bottom line, big guy, you dug yourself an enormous hole when you started posting on this site behaving as a know-it-all, "my opinion is right, yours is wrong" nincompoop a few months back. Nobody likes you, so it'd probably be best to go elsewhere or start fresh. Hope that helps because this little pissing match is going nowhere...

Holy fucking shit! Can we split this nonsense off to the romper room?

In response to the Phil Dawson question: yes he should get his dues as a very good to elite kicker the biggest problem he has is he plays for the Browns.

That game vs buffalo a few years ago he won in a snowstorm/blizzard was outstanding!

No, you dont.

Sarcasm ftw

You are just looking to pick a fight. I doubt you watched the game last night or you would at least be able to concede that while he hits very hard, he doesnt use good form, which has been a huge problem for our defense. Also, the speed issue isnt something he is just going to be able to just fix.

He is going to be a liability in coverage this year. He could improve his tackling and learn some better angles.

I watched the game. I thought he looked good, considering it was his first pro game ever. He's a rookie. He's going to improve his tackling and learn some better angles. And improve on everything else more than likely.

Go ahead and keep doing what you're doing. It's worked so well for you at this point. I was simply trying to point out how fucking stupid it is to say that you never see him more than a situational player after watching one preseason game. Seriously, did you even think about that when you typed it?

Sadly, I know you did.
