    ...without Jim Carrey...

    Ace Ventura 3 is coming, but the film will not star Jim Carrey. Josh Flitter (License to Wed) will star in the film as Ace Ventura, Jr. David M. Evans (The Sandlot) is set to direct.

    The film's story centers on the son of Ace Ventura following in his father's footsteps by becoming a pet detective for the 7th-grade set and tracking a stolen baby panda after his mother is wrongly accused of the crime.

    Shooting begins in Orlando in September.

    I guess they didn't pay much attention to how well "The Mask" sequel did w/o Jim Carrey. :roll1:

    I guess that's Josh Flitter. He doesn't look familiar to me.

    I didn't even know they made a sequel to "The Mask." How well did the original to that do? I seem to remember it being a pretty crappy movie.

    I thought Ace Ventura was pretty good. But then the second was pretty bad. Stop while you're ahead.

    He was good as the caddy in The Greatest Game Ever Played.

    He's also been in Nancy Drew and License to Wed, but I haven't seen those.
