Per Jemele Hill:

BREAKING: Per ESPNews: Syracuse police investigating allegation that Syracuse asst Bernie Fine molested former ball boy.
WTF is happening in college sports right now? This is supposed to be our release from real life but it's not even enjoyable anymore. Ugh

Edit: Here's a link to the developing story (warning its ESPiN)

Syracuse police say they are investigating an allegation that Syracuse University assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine molested a team ball boy for more than a dozen years beginning in the mid-1980s...

Rapists, thugs, cheats, liars, dopers, drunks, .....

But pedophiles?

I'm with shiznit. I think I will check out what the Kardasians are up to (I sincerely hope I spelled that wrong).

Jesus, this is getting ridiculous. Apparently it happened in the early 80's, why wait so long to come forward?

You think it anything to do with all the publicity PoSU is getting? I think JoePa created this story to take the heat off of him for a second. Hold on a sec. I had to adjust my tinfoil hat.

You would think that Boeheim would have learned a thing or two about unconditional support from Penn State, but no. I have to admit, this sounds a little fishy too, but Boeheim's statement is certainly premature.

http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2011/11/syracuse_coach_jim_boeheim_def.html

"This is alleged to have occurred ... what?" Boeheim asked late Thursday night. "Twenty years ago? Am I in the right neighborhood? It might be 26 years ago? So, we are supposed to what? Stop the presses 26 years later? For a false allegation? For what I absolutely believe is a false allegation? I know he's lying about me seeing him in his hotel room. That's a lie. If he's going to tell one lie, I'm sure there's a few more of them."

Considering Boeheim's reaction and ESPN's butt getting kicked when it comes to breaking stories (edit: this year), I wouldn't be surprised if this was a "forced" story by ESPN. Now I'm not trying to demean the hardships the two ball boys endured, but wasn't this investigated once by ESPN in 2003 and once by Syracuse in 2005 (if I read everything correctly)?

What I heard ESPiN say, was that originally they had no corroboration, so they hesitated to report it. But, now since there is a second accuser (and maybe because they didn't exactly jump all over the Penn State story when it was first reported back in the Spring) they are reporting it now.

Apparently it happened in the early 80's, why wait so long to come forward?

The one man had attempted to file a complaint some time ago, but was told the statute of limitations had run out. Also, it's not at all uncommon for people to have a difficult time coming to terms with severe abuse. Some suppress the memories, some are ashamed, some are afraid. Considering that abuse causes damage that impacts emotional and psychological development, it's not surprising that it can take years (or decades) for people to grow enough to be ready to confront their abuser.
