ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition

iambrutus

Screw Blue
  • The show with the ultra fag Ty, has come to Ytown, boardman to be exact. I signed up to work there, and for the past two days have done just that. It was amazing! The way that the community has just teamed up and got stuff done is incredible. They framed the house in 5 hours, which crushes the old "record" of 12 hours.

Here's a little about the family:

Jeff Novak is a special education teacher at South Range Middle school, his wife was a teacher in the Jackson Milton school district. They have 3 daughters, ages 6, 2, and 6 months. The mom passed away this past may after complications from the last pregnancy.

The house gets revealed to the family this coming Wednesday, but i'm not sure when the show will air.

I got sick of the show after a few episodes but they do great work for people. They helped a guy out from Tampa last year that lost his sight when the Radio Shack he was working at was robbed and he was shot in the face.... congrats on doing a positive thing for your community :)

The show is supposed to air in November I've been told. I've never seen the show, but we are having a "reveal party" because I have several friends who have donated mucho dinero and time and effort into this project. They know the family and said he is a great guy and really deserves this...Sad story...I guess the daughter was the one who wrote the letter to the show producers.

BTW, the local news was just broadcasting "live" from the location. The house already looked finished from the outside...

I've seen the show a few times and I must say the show is pretty cool. Despite Ty's annoying habit of running around with a bullhorn screaming at people, the distraction of the hot blond and the fact that half the guys involved in the show are more interest in sharing makeup tips with her than poking her, the show is watchable.

They do some great stuff for people who certainly needed a pick-me-up in life. Maybe we can send them down to take donny's house off its wheels.

i dont watch much t.v. but that show is what reality t.v. should be. all these big money corporations could do this without breaking a financial sweat, and the ratings for the show are very good iirc. nice to see people that have been beat down by life get something so profound. i dont care who any of the people on the show are, but fag or not, they do some great stuff.

is that Ty dude the one with the lisp? if so....yeah, i hate that homo.:tongue2:

The show has great intentions but there is still some malcontents who have benefited yet still complain about lack of quality yada yada yada. There was some CBS special trying to hurt the shows credibility or something.

I love the show and wish they would do my house over...I guess its a good thing they dont...I havent had any travesties yet and I hope I never do.

I watched it this weekend for the first time this season. Still a great concept for a show and much better than watching a bunch of idiots sucking Trump's ass.

Anyways, I will try and watch the episode this weekend to see if I can spy old Iambrutus

I commented to my wife that it would be interesting if they did follow-ups on some of these people. The family they did this weekend had a wife in Stage IV cancer and they thought she only had months to live. I was wondering if getting her back in her house (There were four of them living in a 10x10 room in her mother-in-law's apartment because the contractor working on their house took off with their money and a house that could not be occupied) helped her fight against cancer.

    Iam,
I heard on the radio today that they're going to start filming a movie in the old Southside Hospital soon. They're looking for extras, maybe you can get in the movies for that one.
