A short tale from Miami

BPCFFB League #2 League Champion 2008 & 2010
Working in a nightclub in South Beach always has interesting stories. Last night I had a promoter bring three UM players to my bar and he bought them a round of Hennessy's. When they came back without him, they pleaded with me for some more drinks. So I start breaking their balls. I told them I could only give one of them a drink cause I was out of comps, and who ever said "Ohio State is the best team in the country and they will be this year's National Champions" would get it. The first one ( a starting defensive lineman who will go unamed) blirtred it out quickly with two thumbs up in the air. He was a really nice guy so I won't name him, but I went on to ask him about Rhyan Anderson, and I didn't get a very glowing review of his progress.

He is a sneaky kind of guy. :sneaky:

Oak Creek (Wisc.) High School DE Rhyan Anderson was a nice present for the Canes on signing day. :sneaky:

Especially since publicly he was telling people leading up to signing day that Ohio State and Oklahoma were his top two.

The only hint he dropped prior to Feb. 4 was telling CaneSport that he planned to surprise a lot of people.

And Anderson’s coach had also told CaneSport previously that Anderson was leaning to Miami.

Anderson spoke today about his decision and why he didn’t want to list the Canes along with his other top 2.

"Everyone was believing Miami was where I was going, somehow it got leaked,” Anderson said. “But I didn’t want everyone to know so I switched it up a little. I think it worked pretty good. Everyone started to believe that I wasn’t going to go to Miami.”
