How about Ronald 'Ree'-gan? He was president for 8 years, and some people couldn't say his name correctly.

edit - Just a coincidence that I was typing something about Reagan when sushi was adding the "Old-timer's" thing to her post.

The first on I thought of was 'nuc-ular'.

Carter used to drive me crazy with that.

Then Bubba had a habit of throwing it in every other time he used the word. I think W must have listened to Bubba because he's always pronouncing it that way.
