Just a sick first half to watch.

As good as Shannon Scott has been during their win streak, he's just been AWFUL tonight. Awful, awful, awful shot selection. Stop shooting. Your game has been to drive and dish....I have no idea why Shannon thinks he is LaQuinton Ross today.

I don't have much beef with DeShaun and his shot selection...it is who he is. He just isn't making a thing today...maybe it turns around at the half?

Wichita State is doing a good job of protecting the paint, but at the same time, Ohio State has missed open look after open look. It's just that scary shooting night everyone knew was a possibility.

Props to Amir for solid defense.

And as all tournament long as we have seen, the offciating is just horrendous. These officials just have no idea what they are looking at 90% of the time. The foul on Craft and then obviously the foul on Ravenal were just straight garbage. Just no idea what they think they are seeing, but it's terrible.

Unfortunately even with those terrible calls its difficult to lay this at the feet of the officials. We are getting our asses kicked back to Columbus.

Hopefully the can come out with a better shooting half but this game feels so much like MSU/Duke in that I just don't believe we will ever see the Buckeyes find any sort of rhythm. Wichita States defense is too good and the flow of the game is too controlled by the whistle.

I have no idea why they look so tired.... they are walking up and down the court. Not really vary many attempts at drive or pushing the tempo. Even the press is a token press till they get the ball and then they back off. Honestrly I'd tell Thompson to drive the lane and stuff one I don't care if you get a charge but damn maybe it will give our team a boost.

Perhaps the most frustrating half I have watched in a long time. They need to get their heads into this game.

Rebounds. Something like 2 to 1. They need to crash the boards.

Shot selection. They are closing on Deshaun, rallying to pressure the three: penetrate, penetrate, penetrate.

This is not an insurmountable lead, the "other guys" on this team need to show up now.

If rebounding and shooting percentage don't improve radically, this will be a very embarrassing end to the season.

I will now return to self-moderation mode.

I wouldn't say a really deep hole. It's more just a hole. They can turn things around pretty quick. Seems like they've come out of the gate 2nd half during the season hot.

The first 4-5 minutes of the 2nd half are key. If we can knock the lead down to 6 or less, that would be great.
