'16 & '17 Upset Contest Winner
The early game in Pittsburgh on Saturday. The winner will face the winner of Vandy-Wiscy in the East (tOSU's) region.
 
25-24 'Cuse at the half. The under's looking good.

15 offensive boards but only 9 second chance points for K St. K State has missed several inside shots/gotten them blocked/gotten fouled while not flushing dunk attempts. Teams with a couple of bigs that can feed each other from the middle of the zone and be able to finish will be very tough for 'Cuse to beat without Fab Melo.

I think Syracuse is getting lucky to get to the Sweet 16, assuming they hold the lead here. Of course, if they had Melo I wouldn't be saying that, but K-State had one of their top frontcourt players be held out due to an eligibility issue that came out 20 minutes before the game, and McGruder their leading scorer has an ankle injury that has held him back some. Syracuse will be beaten easily by Vandy/Wiscy if they make it there.
