7000 Members!!!

We're only 6 shy right now. That's incredible.


As a sort of timeline....

The 1000 member mark was hit on 07-28-2004. In the 620 days since then, BP has increased 7 times!!! (good luck touching that, BP2)

From 1000, it took 195 days to grow to 3000, which we hit on 02-08-2005.

It only took 91 days to jump to 4000 (on 05-10-2005) and then another 113 days to get to 5000 (on 08-31-2005).

Assuming we get to 7000 by Monday, it will have taken 222 days to get another 2000.

As you can see, BP has been consistently growing at a rate of roughly 1000 members per 100 days (10 new members per day!). There wasn't any boom, it has been a very consistent increase for nearly 2 years. At this rate, BP will grow to over the 10,000 member mark by this time next year.


Here's to you, Clarity, for getting such a fantastic community off the ground and running...

Well I know what you mean doctorb, :tongue2: but by any reasonable measure that growth in member rolls still translates into a growth in "active" members. So the trend remains our friend, even though there are statistics used to get the numbers.
(Unless of course this is reminder of the "extra" accounts and pseudonyms)>

From the front page - "Active Members" count is 1835, which is probably a good ratio of participating sign-ups to total roll call.

I wonder what the typical participant (ie. has posted) head-count is at the scout or rivals sites?
