Reminds me a lot of the '07 Illinois game.

A shellshocked QB, plenty of mistakes, an excellent defense that just couldn't quite do the job today and a bad call/non-call on a fumble that changed momentum and resulted in points for the other team.

Avoid the national outlets, it won't be pretty.

Liked the old days when it would be like "ow a loss to Purdue, oh well a winning season, a win over Mich., and a bowl game appearance is great"

Now it is all about NC, BCS, and trash talk. Any respect OSU had nationally is now gone I am afraid. :(

maybe the coaches should run the hurry up all the time... the kids seem to do better running it... of course running the hurry up goes against everything Tressel believes, so i don't think it's going to happen...

all i know is, something's gotta give. we have a top 5 defense. we have a top 5 special teams. we have top 5 talent on an offense that Duke would be embarrassed to field... you do the math.

Once again our offensive gameplan and performance were offensive. For all but one year under Tressel, the Ohio State offense has somehow made some of the best talent in the country look like crap. I just don't get it. How can this keep happening?

The offense's inability to get out of their own way handed this win to Purdue.

I'll be back sometime tomorrow I guess.

If you make 5 turnovers, don't block anyone and keep letting the other team convert third downs you aren't going to win too many games. As bad as TP played someone needed to help him out. Not sure anyone on the o-line showed up today.
Hats off to Purdue...they deserved to win.

So many mistakes today. Hard to write anything possitive. Coleman had a good game thats about it. Offensive line blew, whats new, they have one or two good games a year thats it. d- line was kinda disapointing too. dont understand this team....

I truely believe that this game soley rests on the coaches. They didnt get this team ready for the game, no half time adjustments. Sick and tired of hearing excuses from coaches its time for action BOTTOM LINE. We have all the talent in the world on this team and they cant find a way to use that talent to the fullest. Just a down right embarresing game.

Used to get upset about these games. But the problems have been exposed by Buckeye Nation and they dont fix the problems, so at this point why get mad.
