68 Team Tourney instead of 64, 65 or 96

Seriously, I'm curious as to what provider doesn't have TruTV right now? I figured just about everybody without rabbit ears has had CourtTV for years. It's on extended basic (digital not even required) cable on TimeWarner in Cincy. It's on the lowest package for DirecTV and the second lowest package for Dish Network.

Don't rack your brain too hard about the bracket. It'll likely be four play-in games now instead of just one. That would be cool if they put them all in Dayton. The could do doubleheaders on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. I probably still won't watch them though.

Yeah, a long fight between a new or little-carried channel and cable networks would be totally unprecedented. :roll2:

its been around for years on any cable provider not paid for by welfare in your city.....so you might not get it.

EDIT: sorry OSU_buckguy said it right before me

Field of 68: NCAA OKs expanded men's tourney - ESPN

68-team tournament approved

INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA's Board of Directors has approved the new 68-team men's basketball tournament that will begin next season.
It's the first expansion since 2001 when the tourney went from 64 to 65 teams.
How the new format will work isn't likely to be determined until this summer, when the men's basketball issues committee meets. It is believed the tourney will include four opening-round games, often called play-in games, instead of the one that has been used since 2001.
