Then the today show where the kid pukes...

You be the judge.

The idiot is an attention whore, that is what he has to gain. Attention. Keep lying idiot. Even if he is not lying (doubtful), he is a terrible parent. Never mind the fact the night before he wanted to be left alone, but then shows up on the Today show the next morning.

I've already decided, and I'm not going to bother looking at those youtubes, or any other coverage of this attention whore.

Hopefully there are laws that can actually put him in jail for a while for the fraud he committed, which resulted in costly activities for local authorities.

Charges to be filed.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/18/us/18balloon.html

It's only a class 3 misdemeanor, yet I hope they bankrupt his ass to pay for all the cost to chase a damn balloon. Congrats buddy, you got the attention you so desired. Probably would have been cheaper to take out a few commercials.

BTW...here is the launch of the balloon. Totally staged. Hell, Falcon is probably holding the damn video camera. On top of that, the whole family is there to see it. So we are supposed to believe they thought the kid climbed into a helium filled balloon, and the thing took off with him in it. Yet instead the kid, who did nothing wrong, hid in the attic above the garage (which the police decided not to check because they thought there was no way in hell a 6 year old could get up there without help).

Love this line in the report below....

"Richard Heene said he's "seeking counsel," though it was unclear whether he was talking about hiring an attorney."

How about Federal Wire Fraud charges for the phone call that he made to local authorities to report this crap. That's 20 years per count.

It looks like they have upped the charges they plan to file....

Authorities: 'Balloon boy' incident was a hoax - CNN.com

Charges have not been filed, but authorities expect to recommend felony charges including conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and attempting to influence a public servant, Alderden said. They also plan to recommend a charge of filing a false police report, which is a misdemeanor.

I also read another article that states a news program was in on the hoax, one that is just as much entertainment as news I believe were the words that were used. I wonder if it was CNN, and probably why CNN left that out of the article. I need to find it.
