(6) THE Ohio State vs. (11) Dayton, Thurs 3/20, 12:15p ET, CBS

Poor offensive half for the Bucks and we're only down three. We need Ross to score and have to play better defense in the paint. I hope Thad is in Amir's ear about being more aggressive. He and Trey each have one foul so there's no reason to be soft coming out of the locker room.

He looked very good out of the gates--started the game 2-3 from the field. But the rest of the half he went 0-4.

Yep, and he started looking at the refs each time he failed to score. You're not always going to get the call. He has to play through that stuff and be more assertive.

I'm not sure if I agree with the statement that it was a poor offensive half--OSU was 44% from the field and 86% from the foul line. That's a very good offensive half for this OSU team.

The Bucks are on pace for 60 points. That's not going to win a lot of games.

Why would a Big Ten team schedule a home and home with Dayton? Obviously, it would be great for Dayton but it does nothing for Ohio State, for example. It's like Boise State insisting on home and homes then crying that no one will play them. Sure their arena is smaller, the money is less, and Dayton/Boise have a lot to gain and little to lose, but go play them in their house anyway. After all, they want to play a home and home with you.

That's not going to happen.
I don't believe the Buckeyes should schedule anybody in state, especially a non-D1 school, and especially especially a private school, BUT Dayton's home venue is comparable in size and the Flyers draw better. Those of you not raised in Dayton don't realize the support behind the flyers. It's been there since the 40's. That's why the first round of the NCAAs are held in Dayton.

Yep... Ross shooting under 30% isn't going to cut it. Still plenty of time and OSU has been a 2nd half team late in the season. Not time to get worried yet.
