PSU has been probably the top underachieving program in college basketball over the past couple of seasons. Their Kenpom rankings suggest a different result should have happened in terms of making the NCAA tourney compared with their actual results. Let's see if Chambers can once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Stevens and Watkins are a load inside
Ped State guards are just meh this year, Jones is decent but not much to write about after that.
Defend the paint and win this game easily. IMO. They are 7-1 but no real big wins, lost to a Ole Miss team that is mediocre at best (they just scored 37 points in a game vs Okie State)

In that Ole Miss game the Pedsters led by 21 with 16 minutes left and the Rebs hadn't made a single three pointer. They drilled seven of them the rest of the game to fuel the comeback.
State Penn has wins over Syracuse, Wake, and Georgetown, all by 15 or more points. I expect them to be a pest, playing over their heads vs tOSU as usual.

Big game before the big football game tonight! No such thing as a must win this early in the season but if we want to be competitive for a Big Ten championship we need to secure wins at home against these mid level teams.
Hopefully the guys respect this Penn State team and don't think they are the shit because they blew out UNC.
