5 Worst and Best ways to get drunk

My birthday two years ago, a buddy and me went to a little dive bar here in Newark. The bartender gave me this shot...he called it fried chicken and gasoline. It was delicious, but it burnt like a motherfucker. It was 151 with Lightning 101. So, yeah, I've been PLASTERED off of something similar. I'll say it again...delicious. Though, ICE 101 tastes like listerine.

Definately similar...regardless they suck! Way to drunk way to fast!

Oh and I think listerine might taste better.

Envision this scenario:

Me: "Hi, how can I help you today"

Dude: "Hey, I made this wine and was wondering if you could tell me what I did wrong."

Me: "Well let's see"

[Opens bottle pours cloudy gross ick clearly made from the neighbors unripe msytery Grapes]

Me: Well, if I had to guess, I'd say pretty much everything.

I don't remember much from that night. My ride home told me I got out of the car at the stop sign before my apt. and sat indian style on the sidewalk. I said "I just need to be still for a bit". Good birthday.

Spoken like a true elitist. :shake:

Hey, I'm not gonna try to be something I'm not.

(Besides, if they're bringing me shit with floaties in it, its time to start over from the beginning)

"Pruno is a famous jailhouse drink which is typically made from different available fruits, sugar, ketchup and bread for its yeast. Basically the ingredients are put into a Ziploc bag, heated occasionally, strained and served. It is legendary for its foul taste."

Whodathunkit? :stupid:

Pulque from Mexico - Hands down

Stuff is made from the Agave plant, the same as Tequila, except instead of distilling (like liquor) it is fermented (like beer). Stuff ends up a milky/foamy/sour drink with 8-10% alcohol. Rank flavor too. The hangovers from it are legendary.

YUCK! It's also got a sort of ...snotty....texture in the mouth, or at least the super fresh stuff did when I tried it. Awful!
One of the most common techniques used for producing Pulque has lasted throughout the centuries. The method consisted of cutting and carving the cone of the plant so its juices would flow into an open cavity. The obtained liquid, called Aguamiel, or mead by the Spaniards, was crystalline and viscous, sweet and refreshing. The juice would undergo fermentation within a few hours, acquiring a pearly colour and alcoholic properties.

If we are going down this road, Mezcal is a bad drunk as well. Often, it just isn't made as well which is part of the problem. It's usually a cheap, high alcohol content liquid.

Tequila, and its country cousin Mezcal, are made by distilling the fermented juice of agave plants in Mexico. The agave is a spiky-leafed member of the lily family (it is not a cactus) and is related to the century plant. By Mexican law the agave spirit called Tequila can be made only from one particular type of agave, the blue agave (Agave Tequiliana Weber), and can be produced only in specifically designated geographic areas, primarily the state of Jalisco in west-central Mexico.
Mezcal is made from the fermented juice of other species of agave. It is produced throughout most of Mexico.
