that's a bunch of bull.

So you're telling me Joe Schmoe from a state other than Arkansas or Ohio wants to tune in and see the likes of Joe Bauserman, Bradon Saine/Jamaal Berry, and no top receiver (outside of Sanzo)? I seriously doubt anyone wants to see that.

I agree we wouldn't score much without our top dogs.

thats what the scouts will see him as but i cant see pryor being ok with the decision to play WR/TE...he came here because he said tOSU will best get him ready to play QB at the next level...and with Tebow's recent 2 game success with pryor to point at, i dont see him telling his new NFL coach that he would be glad to play WR/TE

Most everything I've read and heard from NFL people says he is a very high round pick (6-7) unless he agrees to change positions. Some guys that's sort of worked out for (Brad Smith, Randle El) and many it hasn't (Crouch, Michael Robinson, Matt Jones) so I imagine he will want to go as a QB, so he needs another year for that I think.

1. I see you had a little hyperbole for lunch today.
2. Remember that we have a lot of RBs. A lot of very good ones, even.
3. Miller has proven to be a serviceable LT.
4. Sanzenbacher has been the go-to WR this year more than Posey.

Would we miss them? Yes. Would we be shut out on offense without them? Most probably not.

It's all about the quarterback.

Without TP. Against a quality opponent. This offense won't score.

It's actually pretty mathematic.

If nobody is watching when the commercials are run, that means that sponser wasted their money to buy it.

What's so hard to understand about that?

Your point about sponsors/ads was surely the least of the "bunch of bull" in your post. But the Sugar Bowl is the only bowl game on Tuesday, and even without TP that game is going to get its ratings. Buckeye Nation is tuning in either way, right?

And even without every one of the players in question, Ohio State can still move the ball on the ground--but regardless, it's the defense that is ultimately responsible for beating Arkansas, and none of those guys affect the defensive play.

rkansas isn't exactly known for it's defense. rkansas has exactly 0 shut outs this year and if you don't think the backups at tOSU aren't significantly better than the starters at Tennessee Tech or Louisiana Monroe you're crazy.

Keep on trolling.

I think people tune in to watch one of the top QB's in the coming draft play against the #2 defense in the nation...

ya i agree that if he wanted to sell any team that he can be a QB at the next level then he would have to have a awesome 2011 year, but that is all but gone...i think all he can do now is go out for the sugar bowl and hopefully have the game of his life, which should be possible against a OK Arkansas defense, and then impress scouts at workouts and the combine...even if he does come back next year he will only have half a season under his belt to again showcase that he has improved to play at the next level...either way his hopes of being a high draft pick at the QB position in the NFL i think are sadly gone

And they tune out when the score gets Florida from 2006 ugly. Which it will if we can't keep putting points on the board to match Arkansas.
