again, i'm not at all saying that i didn't want osu to win, but i did see the silver lining to losing day. the conference tournament runs a very distant second to the national tournament, and these games are very taxing to a team that has virtually no bench.Jake;1673172; said:I share the concerns of fatigue and all playing this tournament but judging from Thad and ET's reaction the team thinks this is important, so that's good enough for me. :)
40 minutes once every 3, 4, or 5 days is one thing. 40 minutes 5 times in 9 days is something altogether different. this team is evidently more fit than those in seasons past, but the team is now playing with fire.Bill Lucas;1673175; said:Matta was asked about this in January and his response was that everyone was expected to be in good enough shape to play 40 minutes every game if necessary. He knows his team better than I do so I'm not about to argue with his thought process.

Not that he wants to come out of the game, but if he gets few fouls, Madsen is playing the last couple weeks of his college career and playing like a mad man....
Go Bucks!

He struggled today (but he made a HELL of a shot) and not surprisingly Ohio State struggled.
