5 Bold Predictions for 2010

I have 7. Just for fun and you DID say bold....

1. The Big Ten champion will play the Pac Ten champion in the National Title game

2. Those two teams will be Washington and Ohio State

3. The Rose Bowl will pick Wisconsin and Boise State as replacements

4. Cryami, after losing to Ohio State on September 11th, will end up losing at least 3 other games, all 3 of which were winnable at some point but some of their poseur players would cost them via stupid penalties and/or boneheaded plays.

5. Iowa will lose at least 3 games this year

6. The SEC champion will have 3 losses.

7. Unless scUM starts out really really hot, Dick Rod will be fired by November 1st.

3. Five MAC schools finish higher ranked by sagarin than scUM.

4. Dick Rod goes 7-5 winning all games but OSU in the Big Ten slate. After big loss to OSU and Cap One bid, Rodriguez named BT COY... Promptly Fired.

5. Three teams finish with better rec than Texas in BigXII: 12-1 Nebraska 9-3 Mizzou, and 10-3 Choklahoma. Texas finishes 8-4 including a suprising week 12 upset from Texas A&M.

What do you mean by slightly better?

1. Florida vs. tOSU in the NC game.
2. Texas fails to win 10 games for the first time in God knows how long.
3. Alabama loses 3 games.
4. Pryor leads the Big-10 in pass efficiency.
5. Michigan State finishes 2nd in the Big-10 and goes to a BCS bowl.(quit laughing)

Meaning he'll still throw a decent amount of INT's, he'll still skip a few balls to receivers, and he'll finish around that 55-58% completion. I hope i'm wrong but I just have to see it consistantly before I feel at ease regaurding our passing game. I think he'll go for something like 2500 yards, 20 TD/11 INT, 57% completion.

Again, hope he proves me wrong but i'm cautiously otimistic about our throwing game this year. He had a great game against the Ducks but here's hoping that he strings together a few games like that this year. Namely, against Iowa/Wisconsin/Miami/Weasels.

That is a bold prediction then because that's pretty much no improvement which would be shocking given the reports on the improvement he's made in the offseason. I can't see anything less than 60% and 22-25 td's and 8-10 int's.

given your range though oregon my predictions are just on the lower end that's all. The reports have been many, and I'm excited to see what he can bring. However, I'm just going to stay cautious on this one instead of jumping the gun and being let down if he has a game here or there that he doesn't perform well in.

It wouldn't shock me it he does reach that 62% range, 2500+yards, 20+ tds, and >10 INT's. It just wouldn't shock me though if he doesn't blow us away neither.

Personally I hope we never pass the ball anywhere near 30+ times a game. That means A) our run game is failing or B) we're behind. So here's hoping to two 1,000 yard rushers.
