#4 Wiscy +3.5 vs #1 Syracuse (ov/un 121.5) Thurs 7:15 ET, CBS

It didn't help that Berggren was out for large portions of the game. That killed Wisconsin. I said before the game they needed to attack the zone from the inside out to be successful, and they didn't. With that being said, I'm amazed Wisconsin even had a shot to win at the end.

But really, was anyone surprised Taylor took that heave at the end? That was basically Wisconsin's offense this year.
how can you be surprised they were in it till the end when they made every 3 they chucked up for a good 10 minutes?

I thought Wisconsin lost the game because they couldn't stop Syracuse at all on D. The sheer number of easy buckets in the paint by the Cuse was alarming. Wisky wasn't protecting the rim well at all. I think the problem was they got spread out and were taken off the dribble by Syracuse, and when they got to the basket there wasn't anyone there to make the shot tougher most of the time. So a key for OSU, should the Buckeyes advance, will be to stop Syracuse's dribble penetration.

that shouldn't be a problem. pardon the conference war BS, but Wisconsin actually is slow and plodding. Ohio State actually plays D.

Syracuse hasn't had easy lanes like that to the basket all year. that was a product of Sconsin being slow as shit.

I agree, everytime Wisconsin would make a huge 3 Cuse' would reply with an easy bucket in the paint. It was only a matter of time that the Badgers would cool down from downtown. I thought Wisconsin should of won but Bo decided to neglect his last time out and a shitty shot ensued. Deal with it.

Bo Ryan explains why he kept a time out in his pocket while Berggren was at the scorer's table waiting to check in as time expired on his team's season:

"Never leave your inbounds man without a time out."

Good move, Coach. You lost, but you still have that time out left...just in case.

Bo thinks they rollover to next season.
