That was painful to watch. Congrats to BU. I'd like to see them win it all.

Pressure is on Markell now to take this young team and move forward both as a team and in terms of individual talent developement. I expect better than a first round exit from both the NCAA and CCHA tournaments next year.

All in all, it's been a pretty damned good winter season. NCAA bids in men's hockey and basketball. Three seed for the women's b-ball team. National runner up in wrestling and 3rd place NCAA finish in fencing. No national championships this year, but we're still racking up some nice Athletic Director's Cup points.

And congrats to Fredo of Ohio on the biggest moment in their school's history. I'm sure that they can use the money to buy some office chairs.

Boston scores a PP goal with 13.4 left off of a defender sliding into the net trying to block a cross-crease pass. Up 2-1 on UNH and probably headed to DC.

Face off coming up in the BU zone with about 3 seconds on the clock and a UNH empty net. Can they repeat yesterday's heroics?

Nope. BU moves on.

They just showed the overhead view and it almost looked like the UNH defender was trying to push it into the net. He extended his arm as the puck was coming across and punched it right in. Ouch.

hopefully dalpe, bartski, and the rest stick around and don't bolt for the NHL already. Next years team could be a lot of fun to watch.
