I remember the first time I went to the UK and wondering why everyone had such shitty little cars, that was why. Also, depending where you lived you don't drive much anyway, just from the flat to the car park at the tube station.Just got back from Spain/Portugal. Gas over there is about $2.09 a litre, which is a skoosh more than a quart. Ergo, make it about $8.36 for four litres, or over $8.00 per gallon. No wonder saw so many little cars, plus more than several electrics. PS, parking spaces are at a premium in most of the cities as well.

The road to wealth accumulation is paved one penny at a time.I only purchase gas at Kroger or UDF these days when I can apply a discount. It isn't much, but the UDF 3 cents off for a coffee adds up.
Saved 15 cents off a half tank yesterday.
sounds pretty good to meI live in a house where a V8 twin turbo is the most fuel efficient car in the garage. FML.
Firewood is going up too, it costs over a dollar a mile to deliver it. There will be no good options.Friends and family that use oil for home heating are panicking... oil prices have exploded... and even their electric bills are at all-times highs... STRESS
let's hope that doesn't happenI remember when there wasn't an extra digit for gas prices to be displayed properly when they got to be over $1 a gallon. The signs on the sides of the road would read stuff like .019, and we had to just know that that meant 1.019 per gallon.
Are they going to do the same thing when the prices go over $10 a gallon?
