360 NCAA13 Online Dynasty V (planning)

Rosters are supposed to be out tomorrow evening.

I need feedback on whether we want to stick with these teams with no coaching carousel. A lot of chatter in that direction, I want some final answers.

Are we okay sticking with Ole Miss, Ohio, BG till kingdom come?

Or should we allow users to make horizontal moves, so we can take over a same star, similar rated ovr (say within 2 pts) program?

If we stick with the teams I definitely would have gone in a different direction as far as teams go. I'd rather not stick with Illinois for the entirety of the league, yet I understand the issues with coaching carousel. I would actually redo the draft and possibly include higher rated teams if we have to be stuck with a team. Yet I will happily go with whatever you guys think is right.

We go with Jwins idea of moving up a team no more than 3 rating points. But to do this, you should have to meet some type of goal. For example, you can move up if you win a bowl game the past year or something like that

I don't really want to switch teams just because we can. I think we should earn it somehow, just like if carousel was on

This is exactly what I was thinking. We could take over better teams. Perhaps no top 10 or 15?

I personally would rather play as mediocre teams and work our way up slowly. But if more people want to be better teams I'm fine with that, as long as we can get the draft done in a day

I'd probably still pick a mediocre team, I think dynasty's are funner that way. Doesn't mean everyone has to though.

Yup. I agree. It makes the CPU games a little more difficult as well. And we can still switch teams. If you start off with a really good team, you're pretty much stuck there

At small schools, you see a greater variety of different bowls to play in, you have more fun recruiting (trying to find diamonds in the rough, pulling off the coup to sign the big time player, etc), and you play the game without sweating losing a game. With big squads when you lose a game, your season is pretty much over when compared to your expectations.

Just my opinion.

We had the same team the whole time in NCAA11, and no one had a problem, not sure why it's a problem now, just because they added a feature (one that is severely broken)

Its not a problem, just saying I think it'd be more fun with mid level teams than starting at the top
