How fair is it that the winless player gets to be in a conference with one of the better if not the best in the league?

Why don't you step on my head while I'm drowning
This proposal would leave you with a good chance of 1 less conference [strike]loss[/strike] user game

2 per div means:

1 user game in division
1 user game across division (if set as a protected rivalry)
0-1 user game across division depending on schedule rotation

So a user might play 3 user games to reach the CCG vs 2 for another user. Conference schedules can't be edited.

What do you guys think about waiting until everyone goes BCS before making 3 super confs?

It would also make the decision making more intriguing when considering promotions.

Can you edit conferences in the middle of an OD in for example year 3 offseason?

Yes, before the preseason (after the offseason), there is a conference adjustment week. We did this all the time in my other OD (since we usually had 8-10 returning users and a few new teams to shuffle around).

Gotcha. Good to know. I kind of like the idea of playing against a user in the conf. championship and having the other user game OOC. But that my not work out
You have to play more than two user games or there's no separation between the teams. You end up with a bunch of similar records at the end, assuming teams beat the computer.

Yeah but no matter what you'll have this problem. A handful of guys with 0 losses, a handful with 1, and a handful with 2 or 3 at most.

No matter what we'll all be close record wise.

I mean we could do everyone a seperate conf. but it's not fair if someone is in Big10 and has better bowl ties than the MAC or WAC.

I think 2 teams per conference in EACH of the BCS conferences, but put one team in north and the other in the South (east west, legends leaders, etc). Only conf without divisions is Big 12

Then you play 1 or 2 OOC games and hope to meet other user in Conf. Champ. for bragging rights. But there's always a chance you could play other user in your conf. during the reg season too.

I mean no matter what there's always going to be guys who have more user games than others.

If you do 3 teams per conf. which is how we did it in past, 2 guys are going to play 3 (maybe 4 including bowl games) bc of conf. champ.

EA is not Like regular football. In my other league we play 6 to 8 User games and the trade-off is that you star pretty highly ranked even after you Lose because of your strength of schedule.g.

Having two separated teams in each conference also means that you could have A rematch every single season If they are a protected rivalry. It's not then some of the teams have to play twice as many user games Under your scenario of one Out of conference game and one potential conference championship game.
