I personally don't like it, it's kind of a pain to have to switch teams from different conferences every season

It's a cool idea but I feel like it would blow up the conferences like crazy.

Plus I like recruiting for one team for a few years to build them up, then possibly move up

I just like being able to stay in the same conf with the people and building like a rivalry..

I loved being able to play Gomer every season in NCAA11 since the winner usually won the conf (since you were always out of the picture )

This may be too hard..but here's a proposition for conference alignment

Say we have 3 conf of 4 teams...and for example i'll use myself, mac, gomer and jwins for example..

We'll have 2 in each division (that way it can be user v user for conf title)

we'll put Jwins and Mac in div a and Myself in gomer in div b..

Jwins has a protected game against gomer, and I have one against Mac...so that gives us 2 guaranteed user conf..now we're kinda at the mercy of the CPU if I play Jwins and Mac plays gomer..

but if it doesn't happen schedule a user from another Conf to make up for it (one that may have 2 as well)

just a thought, but that may be too difficult, I just like to be able to play a user for the conf championship

How fair is it that the winless player gets to be in a conference with one of the better if not the best in the league?

Why don't you step on my head while I'm drowning

Putting 4 teams in 3 conferences is not hard, though I've always done it in the same division. 2 per would be interesting, though it would run the risk of inequal user game totals like you mentioned.

The other thing is that when you are building up your program, it is crucial to win and recruit during rivalry games.

Maybe we do our own thing at random schools until everyone arrives at a BCS school, then we pool them in 3 conferences?
