360 NCAA13 Online Dynasty V is live!!!

I have no freaking clue how my kicker missed that field goal.

Good game. I was a little frustrated with the some lag, but hey, my defense sucks and my QB decided he either wanted to hold onto the ball forever (lag) or throw it no where near a wide open receiver.

You do play man to man a bit too often (I honestly never saw you in zone once). Which brings me to my frustration with this game. There are plays that work 100% of the time vs. man to man if the QB is accurate. I held back using them too much in this game for fear of "cheesing." I honestly try and only run the same play a max 2 times (even ones similar). Yet I was out of them fairly quickly since you ran man to man the whole time. I went back to some of them later when I really needed a completion, yet my QB missed badly on about 4 of them.

I have to admit, this game, the more I learn about it, the less fun it is. I know I could have ran the same plays over and over again against you and pretty much scored at will (yes, my QB would have thrown some incompletions but at least 1 out of every 3 would have gotten a first down). Yet I hate that so much I end up using plays I know are not as good against man, and that is why this game is getting to be a waste for me. There is still not enough variation in this game. Yes, some plays should be better against man than zone, and vice versa. Yet it's close to all or nothing with this game, just like all the games in the past.

That is just my frustration. I constantly battle with myself if things are cheese or not. The game should not be that way. Hopefully some day it will get better.

I ran several different zone coverage plays to try and slow your screen pass game. Finally I found some rhythm with my defense and no matter what I'd run (man or coverage), I was actually finding ways to get to the QB.

The only time you stopped my screens were when your DE ran into my RB (happened twice). So it took him out of his route and away from his blockers (1 time I took a sack since he just kept running into your guy).

I don't know about early in the game when I was running more, but towards the end it was definitely all man to man.

In the end, it's not about you. It's about the fact there needs to be more variation in this game. I know certain routes always work against man and others always work against zone. I feel bad running them all the time, yet it's getting to the point where I will have to.

My whole point is not really about your play. It's about the game. I want it to be something it's not. The running game for the most part is ok. It's just the way coverage in this game works. There are routes that almost never work against man, and there are routes that always work against man. That is never true in real football.

CU vs OU replay is uploading... Each game will be cut up to be 10 minutes or less... Most will be shorter, there was a lot of scoring in this one and it was also my first time playing with my new editing software... As time goes on, the cuts will be cleaner and I will include transitions as long as they arent distracting...

Let me know if you want commentary (post recording or live) For USER games, I will record game chat, so USE YOUR HEADSET!

I am open to all your opinions, unless your name is Bucknut24

In this case I really would'nt feel bad unless its true "cheese". Fact is if he's playing man you have to run man beating routes. Slants, screen's, hitches and goes. If he's running a zone, then comeback, out, flag routes are the way to go.

If he wants to run man, use routes and beat it or force a zone. Nothing "cheese" about it.

I am not sure I agree with the routes you stated as beating zone vs. man. If you have time, the comeback/curl routes work 100% against man (you just have to time it right). The problem is if they are in bump and run the play takes a long time to develop, and often leads to a sack.

The bump and run man to man is the issue. It also takes away the slants much of the time. Of course there is one route that works 100% of the time vs. bump and run man for a big gain (assuming the QB makes an accurate throw). I probably ran it 6-8 times in my last game. The only time it didn't work was when my QB decided to miss my WR by 5 yards, yet he was open. I just get tired of running the same thing over and over and over again. I normally saved it for 3rd down, and saved my butt a few times. Yet since my QB sucks he missed wide open guys 3 times (once on 4th down to a receiver that didn't have anyone within 5 yards of him).

Oh well, I just expect too much out of the game. Football is a very tough game to get right. Just way too many variables happening all at once, and way to much AI coding and physics needed to get it right. Of course a lack of competition combined with a really long console cycle have helped stagnate football games.

BTW...in real football a RB screen should be extremely effective vs. zone and LB blitzes. Straight man should blow up screens (the LB should be able to read it and be all over the RB before the blockers get to him). Yet that is not true in this game.
