360 NCAA11 Online Dynasty ///

All I have to say is I'M ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS. DB fumbling the ball after an INT, somehow Benn got a safety at the end of the first half, in which I was hammering A right after the snap but nope. I finally had an answer to Redbenn's offense in the 2nd half. Played very well, until the last drive. Floater to his RB for 35-40yrds, then 2nd to last play I have his TE covered perfectly, to which I'm hammering Y to try and swat it or intercept it and my guy just stands there. :01 left and Benn kicks a FG to win. The fucking safety was the death of me, and I said that right after it happened. GG Redbenn. It was a heck of a game. I just can't catch a break, and I'm not to sure I'll ever win a user game. No joke, my body was shaking after I got out of my recliner. Not sure if its my rage or if it is just the adrenaline (probably a mix of the 2).

Yeah I was shaking after you had that 80 yd TD on 4-10, I couldnt believe that there was nobody there after stopping you on 1st-3rd. Got really lucky on that TE catch, cant believe they let me get the TO. But I knew it was going to come down to your last drive, because thats how the game seems to work. I felt like my O couldn't be stopped in the 1st half, you figured it out quite a bit... but a couple of the comebacks I was throwing it before the cut, and the qb held on to it and then your DB was able to jump the route. But anyway it was a great crazy game. I had to play another xbox-live after just to come down, and ended up throwing a pick 6 with 30 seconds left to lose.

Yeah that go ahead TD catch was crazy. I was afraid that LB you had covering the flat/shallow zone was going to super jump and knock it down, but after I caught it I wasn't expecting to get much more. I should have went down at the 2 or 3 yard line to run some more clock, but I didn't want to take a chance how my team had been fumbling.

My girlfriend got pissed off at me, and stormed off to the bedroom. She's still pissed at me because I was yelling at the TV on that safety. She said and I quote "Someone's going to call the cops because you were yelling like you were dying" :slappy:

Greetings loyal subscribers! It is time for another update on the frivolities of recruiting around the nation.

Three classes are off to a fast start.

#10 Baylor.... 1 **** 4 ***
#15 Houston 2 **** 1 ***
#23 Maryland 2 **** 0 ***

Maryland is poised to land the first big fish, as they enjoy a healthy lead for 5* Maryland TE Jake Clark. Possessing good speed, hands and blocking ability, he will make an instant impact on a squad desperately in need of an infusion of talent.

Meanwhile, Houston is still in heavy pursuit of 4.46 QB Jeff Williams. They've outpaced LSU, UF & OSU but are still trailing USC. It will take a tremendous visit to make up the difference, but they've done a remarkable job just being in the discussion.

Vanderbilt put up a valient effort for 5* guard Derek Thomas, but it looks like he'll be a gator.

not lookin forward to that stage, i haven't barely gotton anyone this year, and all the recruits i got last year was shitty 3*

I'm in the same boat. I've got 1 3* which will ride the pine during his career probably. And I'm hurting to get recruits this year.

It's interesting, I had a good year last year, but somehow I'm losing big 3* recruits to the likes of OU, ball state, and other teams in the MAC. Kind of frustrating.

Kirk Herbstreit here with a College Gameday Live Update. A huge upset the likes of which most around the nation would not believe was possible.

What would you do if you were Maryland midway through the second quarter?

The scenario:

Visiting Morgantown, West Virginia and the #2 Mountaineers, trailing 17-0.
Missing the NCAA sack leader from your Defensive line.
Missing a Top Three NCAA Rushing leader.
You just lost your Top Ten NCAA Leading passer.
His backup is a Freshman.
Your Impact WR goes down.
and you know WVU gets the ball back after halftime.

Solution? WIN

The Terrapins faced that dilemma today against a confident Mountaineer team and somehow came back to with the game 24-17. The comback started late in the second quarter when Davin Meggett, running for the injured Portzel, creased the defense for an 81 yard sprint to the endzone. 17-7 WVU

The Mountaineers were forced to punt and after a decent return, Redshirt Freshman Devin Burns throws a wobbly ball to wide open Tight End, Watson, to pull it back to a 17-14 WVU lead. WVU gets the ball back and drives down into the redzone as time is almost out in the half when FS Hughes picks the ball off and ends the scoring threat to finish the half at 17-14.

The second half was nip and tuck the whole way, Maryland adding a FG to tie the game at 17 and then with four minutes to go in the game, Davin Meggett adds his second TD to give the Terps an improbable lead.

Finally, with a minute and a half to play, WVU starts a drive at their own 10 yard line. Twice they faced 4th and long and twice they converted, moving the ball down the the Maryland 30. WVU's quarterback, Smith, moves right, throws a strike intended for McCartney in the back of the end zone when Safety Eric Franklin dives in and picks it off, going down in the back of the end zone with just 8 seconds left...

These Terps, banged up and trailing a speedy team, took it slow and steady, crawled back in and won the race.

This is a game most fans in Maryland or West Virginia won't soon forget. For ESPN, this is The Kirk.

I have to say, thank god WVU's QB can't throw.

That was a satisfying win. I was sure I was screwed when I saw two more studs on my team go down and I was already losing. Basically, my four best players were ALL injured.

I only lost my WR for the game, but I am still going to be without the other three QB, HB, and DE all out for 5,4,2 weeks respectively....
