Thing is, ea hasn't announced a patch officially. We don't know what the effects are on the dynasties that are already running so IMO unless the patch does make us restart, I'd say let's keep going.

I agree....lets roll the dice. Worst case scenario we have to restart in a week, best case we get to keep everything we've done so far.

While pausing is a good idea, it'd be pointless to pause mid-season. The progression affects the offseason recruits for the following year. Meaning we could finish year 1 and then wait until the patch is released to have it affect year 2's recruits, since those players are not generated until after the bowls, etc.

HAs anyone noticed poor awareness and things like that with their recruits? I haven't had time to look.

We could even decide to let users add one of their top signed recruits and add them to the roster before restarting... if folks like that idea.

Another thing, there are posts claiming you cannot add custom prospects in preseason which was always one of my favorite parts. :sad2: I would add real prospects from the upcoming classes in real life.

I like that recruit idea. Or even everyone create themselves and see who's "video game" stud performs the best

This happens every freaking year with NCAA. Somethings always broken and it ruins the game in some way once the bug is found. It's sad. If i had the money I'd run ea's verision of college football to the ground.

I'm not a big fan of it. I would rather just start over than start over with making teams a little better.

But i must say that this is coming from a guy whose recruiting class dose not look good at all.

I'm not going to make a big deal over it if someone has a giant video-man-crush on one of their recruits.

BTW, are you going to make some of the '10 studs like Ewing and Cohen?

I would say we keep it an option to add a recruit or two. Of course this is coming from a guy who is in on about 5 four stars....I'm in first with a 4 start QB from Findlay who I would love to retain on a restart.
