you can still upload some vids to your profile after the fact but nothing for the dynasty wire.redbenn;1736588; said:So after a thrilling 23-16 comeback overtime win (the computer did everything it could to make it a close game), I was uploading my vids, and the wife decided to take the remote (which also controls the xbox), thinking she was switching to TV, ejected the disk. It looks like the game registered, not sure about the highlights.
"Thank You Very Much Miss Zippy"
Zips are no match for Virginia.
"Thank you very much Miss Zippy" - Billy Madison (Yes I know it's actually Lippy)
The Virginia Cavliers stuck it to the Akron Zips in week 2 with a 37-7 win at home. Even though the Akron Zips took the opening drive down the field to take a 7-0 lead in the first 2 and a half minutes, that's all the luck they had. The Zips converted on a couple of third and longs, where the UVA's safeties had their heads up their *****, thus allowing them to score.
After that drive, the Virginia defense had a bit of a "Bend but don't Break" mentality. Even though they gave up more yards than they wanted, and most of Akron's drives stalling about midfield almost every possesion, Virginia kept them close at hand.
The halftime score 14-7 Virginia did not show that UVA had a few drives that stalled because of turnovers (one of which was within the 10yrd line), so Akron was lucky to have it at that score.
"I guess the kids got the message", said Coach Mac. "I lit a fire under their ***, and they took care of business in the second half"
That they did Coach Mac. UVA's offense moved the ball at will, with runningback Mack scoring 4 touchdowns. Quarterback Verica added 15/35, 315yards, and 1 touchdown. That percentage is horrible, but the yardage is very good. Yet again, the offense relied on Mack to produce, and that he did. However, Virginia is going to need a more balanced attack to get past rival WVU next week.
Hey UCF, stop taking your recruits to the strip clubs on visits.
UVA made some good progress in the first week of recruiting as well. Coach Mac is upbeat and expecting a few signings in the next few weeks. Unfortunately for Mac, he lost a 4* OLB to Rutgers. It's a small blow, but we don't need that 4*, when we can get two 3*'s and make it a 6* OLB class (You do the math). For now, I'm BuckeyeMac/MacCLovin signing off.
