There will be an official press conference tomorrow at noon, but from sources close to UCF, it looks like there will be a Coach Firing...

It appears that not showing up to games for the last half of a season is grounds to fire even the best of coaches.

I'm really proud of the character of this team. They fought through adversity on and off the field, even in this game, but dug down deep and found out what they were made of.

That's easy. Forcing a pick right after throwing one of our own. Kentucky was taking over the game, forcing us to punt, driving for an easy score, then forcing a pick deep in our end. They were primed to stretch the lead to 21-7.

We dialed up a ballsy zone blitz and our boys executed. Newton was crushed on his release, which fluttered right to another blitzer. He returned it about 50 yards, setting up our long TD run from Sims.

That's all on our kids. We put them in situations to succeed with certain playcalls, but the difference was they rose up and made the play. They executed and forced Kentucky into 2nd/3rd & long situations.

Celebrate tonight and put it all behind us tomorrow. We have a lot of talented seniors to replace and need to hit the recruiting trail early in the morning.
