I had most of my studs battling injuries all season. My DE Drummond was leading the nation in sacks (8 in 3 games) prior to being injured for 10 weeks.
My Starting QB was injured for 5 Weeks (top 10 passer prior to injury)
My Starting HB was injured for 4 Weeks (1 or 2 rusher prior to injury)
My Starting TE was injured for 6 Weeks. (was a decent option in my passing game)
i had the exact opposite. from the opening snap, i ran a comeback route, and the QB threw it about 5 yards too deep, pick 6. Add 2 more INTs and 5 fumbles (4 lost), it was an uphill battle. Couldn't stop their running game, but cut it to 12 with 2 minutes left... didn't get the ball back.
Got a TD pass to both of my Seniors, including one to that previously mentioned TE.
My oft injured HB ran for 379 yards, 6 rushing TD's plus a kick return for a TD
My DE who went out for 10 weeks came in and had 7 tackles, 6 for loss, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles (would have been 4 sacks but one of his FF didnt count on the stat sheet as a sack.)
All this against the Juggernaut known as the Ragin Cajuns.
