360 NCAA10 Movie Team Dynasty

I might let him add a year to say 3 players given the players he lost in the first offseason (when we skipped week 5 of recruiting), but I think that's probably where it stops. He could also pick a new location, I don't think his current one is very advantageous. Maybe put him in Ohio where most of us don't have ties.

Merih, what do you think of switching it up? I know we have all 3 of our users intact, but eobuck has gone 2 years without conference foes and the pac-10 is a bit thin. My proposal:

B12 North: Bayside, Gridiron Gang, Mean Machine

SEC: Muddogs, Hoover, Miami

I'd prefer more teams, but we've had trouble finding replacements and with MW2 out and other big titles soon (plus holidays), I think we might be better sticking with this.

To be honest I knew the whole 12 team deal wasn't going to work from the jump. Six teams is fine with me. We don't have to be true to life here. I want some new jerseys

sweet action. Would you guys be interested in forming two conferences instead of 3, since we're missing some teams? If we did that, I'd suggest going B12 & SEC, and staying in the same divisions to ensure annual conf opponents.

We could even tweak the uniforms if you guys had any requests.

The only drawback is we might not be able to control whether a frosh has been redshirted or not. We would do this in the offseason, probably after cutting players.

I used the Navy roster as my template for creating my team, in Piney's dynasty, because their positional distribution fit my team the best of any of the other rosters. When I downloaded the team, there was not a single player that had been redshirted. I'm not sure if it's still like that, or whether it's like that for xbox, but if you want to use a template that will allow you to redshirt whomever you want, then that would be the way to do it.

Tweak your roster? That's weak sauce man.
Dude, all I know is that I had two guys on my roster (both graduating seniors) that had 94+ SPD. When I look through other players' rosters this season and last, I see many more with that type of SPD, and they are quite younger (meaning they were FROSH and SOPHs when we started. I also noticed that just about everyone's QBs seem to have 86+ SPD, for backups and starters alike. So I would like to have something comparable.

So now you can clearly see that I've not only got weak sauce, but that I'm also suffering from an acute bout of whining brought on by speed envy. Heck, I just want a team that can stop lesser CPU opponents from coming back against me whenever I get a 10 point lead.

Wait, can we switch team/conference alignments and roster stuff mid-OD? I was under the impression that we'd be starting a new OD. Please help me to understand what would actually happen.

Sorry if I seem slower than usual today, I've been working on shell scripting today and my mind's a bit fuzzy.

Thanks IBI, that's helpful. What was their state footprint like for pipelines?

Merih, here's a style you could tinker with for Hoover (though it's close to SCLSU)

I also have a Orange jersey, although I don't like it much. I'll edit this post with a pic of it once i get it.

That's likely because the service academies don't redshirt players in real life. They get 4 years to complete school and that's it. Then they go out into their military occupations.

Maybe we could also consider taking a bunch of small schools and work on building them up using some AA sliders? Oh well, just a thought.

I never thought to check. I just assumed that they took on the pipelines of the team that was replaced.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I'm having a ton of fun on FIFA doing that.

But it would have to be 1 star programs. Even with Hoover (not that good of a team to start with) I can grab great recruits and in the second year go 12-1.

We've advanced to week 6. It looks like fothdog put up a better fight this time.

BrutuS, I looked through your roster and you seem to have pretty good speed, including QB. It may not be SEC speed, but there's only so much of that to go around.

I'm just saying that if we want to pull up stakes and start over, then I want to redistribute some of my speed. I want to give it to younger players. I think it's BS when I look at teams from our league that have multiple players with 94+ SPD, and the only 2 guys I've had with that type of speed were both Seniors when we started.

My QB speed isn't bad now (the SPD ratings for my QBs have improved some each year), but I'd still like to tweak some settings.

What are others' thoughts about starting over with cellar-dweller teams? I think Merih seemed okay with the idea. One thought I have is that we could all take 1 or 2 star programs and start off using an AA slider set for 2-3 years, knowing that we need to build our teams up to compete using our Heisman slider set starting in year 3 or 4.

I'm just trying to think of something that will make it a bit different, and possibly more challenging for one of our teams to win a national championship (at least in the first couple of years of the dynasty).

I just got on the dynasty and everything is back to week 5 with no games played.
