I really enjoyed the Dupree documentary, but my favorite was the "The 2 Escobars" Nearlly all of it was in spanish and had subtitiles, but I was completely riveted.

I saw the Dupree one last night, saw the Tyson one and bits and pieces of others... its a great series, last night was no acception. Looks like I'll be shelling out some $$ when the complete series comes out on DVD

The Terry Fox "Into the Wind" episode is still my favorite 30 for 30.
The kid died of cancer a month short of his 23rd birthday but what he did while fighting it was inspiring as hell. His foundation has raised over $400 million for research since he died in 1981.

Fast forward Dupree twenty years and you have Maurice Clarett. Could of been great, listened to the wrong people and challenged the system only to lose. Loved the film I'm 36, too young to remember him, but I thought the story was well told and un-biased. Damn was he a beast!

That's a story that can been told in countless households across the country. But not everyone lives to tell it. And not everyone has the support system to overcome their problems.
For most deathly diseases, families are pulled closer together. Alcoholism and drug addiction pulls families apart. Fortunately for Chris Herren his sad story has miraculously turned around.
