I like Sparty most of the time - they have a distinct disadvantage from being in that state up north, but usually you can count on them playing hard.

It's just the mental mistakes they make are hilarious against Ohio State and downright frustrating when they are playing someone you want them to beat.

I'm a broken record, but you can't play an entire Big 10 season and then just switch gears to a tightly called game.

Hard screens, jersey grabbing, cleared space with forearms....all of that is ok in the Big 10. It doesn't fly elsewhere.

MSU has gotten sloppy with their D, but Duke has been getting away with some of what you listed along with the hand checks. Consistency is what is missing. God I hate Dookie.

I'm more referring to Costello not being able to run down the court without getting a foul called on him. In the Big 10 he's a hard-nosed player, tonight the refs are looking at him like a goon.

MSU is toast. They look awful.
