I completely agree with wanting to prevent President Taylor from exposing herself.

This wasn't a "series finale" in the true sense. It was just the last time it will be on tv, the movie will be the actual finale.
I thought it was an ok ending, but i agree with most of the comments above. I feel like the last hour of it was a rip off with Jack backing down from shooting the russian president, turning himself in, Taylor exposing herself and then bailing Jack out at the last minute setting him free. I mean come on, the writers basically just got lazy with every single story line at the end.

Since the wife and daughter have been rescued they're starting to focus too much on their (Bauer and his wife) relationship. The daughter is starting to piss me off too. Why do shows do this, it's like they think they have to cater to what they think the woman viewer wants. The Sopranos made the same mistake. At least with the DVD's I can fast forward through the estrogen.
I have to say I'm enjoying this show but as the episodes move along some of these plot twists and developments have become almost comical. I still say that I have to grit my teeth whenever his wife or daughter is on screen.JohnnyCockfight;1950140; said:Damn, I thought this thread was revived due to a new movie coming out soon.
I would recommend not fast forwarding through any part of 24 - there's not a lot of fat in the show, and you'll run the risk of missing a plot development or ten.
