#23 Ohio State vs #11 Rutgers, Wednesday, Dec 23, 4:30 PM, BTN

It's nice they come back, but that doesn't take away from the bigger picture (advancing past the second round, finishing higher than 8th in the Big Ten). We caught a break that Rutgers had injuries and then two guys in foul trouble all game.

The bigger picture? I saw a coach and team that kept making adjustments until they beat the #11 team in the country by double digits. I saw players who played hard even when things weren't going well work their butts off to get a win. I saw young men who represented the university well. I saw a coach that kept making personnel adjustments until he found the combination that would work today.
Yeah, you're right. We should all be terribly disappointed that this is only a top 20 team (assuming they win against Northwestern). If we're not the #1 team in the country shooting for our 5th straight final four we should feel the university has let us down for hiring this loser of a coach who recruited these awful players.
Or, we could enjoy cheering for these very good players who represent the university well and win a lot more than they lose and a highly successful coach who appears to run a clean program. Tough choice.

I see ya working - you're acting like you're miserable and hate this team/coach/players but secretly you're doing it as a reverse jinx thing. Very slick man, you had me convinced!

Generally have no issues with Rutgers. I’ll take it as just a kid saying things after a loss.
(Plus he did get the short end of some calls but uh, welcome to everyone else in the Big Ten. It’s bad!)

Thinks the zebras are cashing out a bet for tonight. And is ready for the return game at The RAC (or Trapezoid of Doom or whatever they try to call it.)

Myles Johnson from Rutgers is coping well with the loss.

Johnson took to Twitter to question the integrity of the officials

Deleted already, but screenshots live forever

Just sayin': B1G coaches have been reprimanded and fined for criticizing the officials, just ask Harbaugh.

Apparently Myles Johnson was advised to delete the posts.....

Rutgers big man Myles Johnson criticizes B1G officials on Twitter following blown lead to OSU

After No. 11 Rutgers was upset by No. 23 Ohio State, Scarlet Knights center Myles Johnson went onto Twitter and criticized Big Ten officials.

We’ll have to see if any discipline comes for Johnson after those tweets.
