Whit Lesure hasn’t yet coached Dominick Barlow. That process will begin next week, when the three-star forward officially begins his senior season at Bridgton (Maine) Academy.
So for now, the coach entering his 23rd season at the academy kept his thoughts on the 6-foot-9, 205-pound Barlow succinct. But there’s a reason why Barlow, who landed a scholarship offer
from Ohio State last week, is joining the program for his senior season.
“I think he’s a versatile, perfectly modern basketball player,” Lesure said. “A position-less guy that I think is very attractive to so many coaches on both ends of the court these days. Multi-faceted offensively, defensively able to guard multiple positions, all that sort of stuff.”
After three seasons at Dumont, New Jersey, Barlow is just starting to play his way onto the national recruiting radar.
