#21 The Ohio State University vs. Nebraska, Tuesday, January 14, 6:30 p.m., FS1

given that it's a coach-determined suspension regarding "program standards and expectations," my guess is the issue is not academic or legal. most likely another suspension due to tardiness or in-practice behavior. certainly less serious than academic or legal problems, but given our current trajectory both as a team and as a position group (i.e., the backcourt), this is hardly ideal. either we gel and resume our earlier ways starting now or the team fully unravels.

almost always foolish to call any early january game a must-win, but this one's pretty darn close.

I knew this .the conspiracy theorist in me wants to know what happened in practice before Washington got hurt . How he got hurt? Though Washington was shooting well was the teammates perception he was shooting too much while not doing enough passing and defense. Was it a Muhammad faction and a Washington faction? I know their team basketball IQ isn’t there now.

a couple nights ago, a poster on another site warned that washington and muhammad would be suspended for nebraska. rumor vindicated. poster also indicated that the suspension is tied to their minutes against indiana. if so, don't understand muhammad being upset with playing time that game since he played only 18 minutes due to fouling out. against uw, wvu, and uk, he averaged about 28 minutes. washington, though, got 8 on a very short leash.
