#21 Ohio State @ #14 Illinois, 1/16/21 on Fox

I liked the old NBA Rule where they gave you 3-to-make-2 on a shooting foul, and 2-to-make-1 if fouled while scoring. They killed that before the 1981-82 season.

I actually disliked that rule, but I could live with it. My issue is the last 2 minutes of a game taking 12 minutes with one foul after another.

There should be no benefit, perceived or otherwise, from intentionally breaking the rules. It's like if the Rams started committing personal fouls when trailing the Packers late, to "extend the game" and give themselves some hope. People would think it's ridiculous, yet we're all so used to seeing something similar in basketball that it's accepted.

Also, I heard they said this was OSU's first road game at Illinois since 1/1/2017. That seems kinda crazy, but it is true if you don't count the game they played at Chicago two seasons ago when Illinois was using an alternate home site while renovating their homecourt.

of course you don't. you're the worst poster BY FAR on this site, especially the basketball board. everything you post has a shade of negativity. even the compliments.

whatever success osu basketball may ever have, you don't deserve it.

Hey, man!

We missed you, dude!

Now get over to the Recruiting forum and give us your thoughts on Reid, Hurlburt, Aligbe, anyone Pedon started following on Twitter, etc., ha.

Finally watched the game. My recording cut off with 2:30 to go...WTH Hulu? Anyway, huge win on the road against a ranked team! ILL puts a ton of pressure on the ball and I was nervous about how our guys would handle that without a true PG on the floor most of the game. Solid job. Monster game from EJ! So glad to see the deep ball going in for him. If he adds that dimension consistently...that is huge. Did you guys hear that bit early in the game where the announcers said OSU didn't have any all big ten guys on the team? Think EJ heard that LOL!

Great team effort. Love that different guys seem to step up each game. Go Bucks!
